Summary Edit

South came out firing in the opening 20 minutes, but despite new recruit Ricky Diaco scoring after just three minutes, a Dean Anastasiadis blunder from a tame Nick Sabljak free kick saw the scores levelled. Billy Natsioulas restored South's lead almost instantly, but another Anastasiadis blunder from another Sabljak free kick saw the visitors draw level again. Anastasiadis' day went from bad to disastrous when he misjudged a through ball, allowing former South man Andy Vlahos to round him and give the Bergers the lead. Diaco managed to rescue a point for South with a late goal, the final act in an exciting but mistake riddled game.
