Scott MacNicol is a retired midfielder who played with South Melbourne in two stints in the club's early days in the Victorian Premier League.
MacNicol had played professionally in Scotland with Dunfermline Athletic[1] and Forfar Athletic.[2]
After the success of the 2006 championship, MacNicol moved to Oakleigh Cannons, only to return to Lakeside midway through the 2008 season.[3]
At the end of 2008, MacNicol moved to Queensland with his family, where he joined Brisbane Strikers, and later moved into coaching.[4]
