The Joe Marston Medal was an award given to the man of the match in the National Soccer League grand final, and upon the NSL's demise, awarded to the man of the match in the A-League grand final each year from the 1989/90 season onwards. The medal is named after Joe Marston, who played for Australian national team in the 1950s and was a member of the Preston North End F.C. side that played in the 1954 FA Cup Final.
Two South Melbourne players have won this award.
