Hamlet Armenian is an attacking midfielder and forward who played for South Melbourne in 2008.
Armenian was recruited from 2007 VPL grand finalist Whittlesea Zebras, where he had formed a fruitful partnership with Tex Apostolikas.
Unfortunately, despite playing every game in 2008[1] (in a mixture of starting and substitute appearances), Armenian struggled to recapture the form that saw him headhunted by South.
He managed only one goal, at home against Oakleigh, and was released at the end of the season. From there, Armenian would go on to play with several local clubs, with varying degrees of success.
