Anthony Giannopoulos played one game for South Melbourne Hellas, against Northcote City in the fifth round of the 2013 Dockerty Cup, coming on as a substitute during extra time.[1]
A boyhood supporter of the club and a long time junior, Giannopoulos had played variously as a full-back and forward during his junior stint at South Melbourne. Despite being officially elevated to the senior list at the beginning of 2013,[2] limited opportunities saw him exit the club. He later played for Dandenong Thunder and Nunawading City among other clubs.
