Collingwood warriors

Collingwood Warriors was a short lived partnership between Heidelberg United and the Collingwood Football Club, which played in the 1996/97 National Soccer League season. Despite a promising start to their existence, winning the pre-season Johnny Walker Cup - including eliminating South Melbourne along the way[1] - the Warriors finished second last on the table[2], and dissolved at the close of the season.
