The Brunswick Street Oval, also known as the Fitzroy Cricket Ground and as the WT Peterson Community Oval, is primarily an Australian Rules football and cricket ground. However, it has also hosted other sports during its history, including over 100 soccer matches[1]. South Melbourne Hellas played two Victorian State League matches there during the 1970s, when Heidelberg United (then called Fitzroy United Alexander) were using the venue as their home ground.
