Briefly on the books of Perth Glory during the National Soccer League[1], Antonio 'Tony' Naglieri was, along with Andreas Oliveira and Dino Djulbic, one of three Western Australian players controversially signed by South from Frankston Pines during the 2006 mid season transfer window.[2] A hardworking, no nonsense central midfielder, Naglieri was a vital cog in South's run to the 2006 VPL title, saving his best performances for the finals series. At the end of the 2006 season, Naglieri returned to Western Australia, joining Perth SC.[3]
