Victorian Premier League season[]
In 2007 the Victorian Premier unexpectedly increased to 16 teams, but not every team played each other twice. South Melbourne played the Australian Institute of Sport, Springvale White Eagles, Preston Lions, and Whittlesea Zebras only once.
