Summary Edit

South had already qualified for the final of the 2000 Tynan-Eyre Cup, and played a largely experimental side against the Knights. Despite dominating proceedings, South found themselves behind, before Andy Vlahos salvaged a draw for South.[2] The same two sides went on to contest the final on the following Friday.
